Now more than ever, our government needs to be vigilant with our tax dollars. I have spent my entire professional career using cutting-edge financing techniques to help government become more efficient and be more responsive to the needs of the citizens. This should be the number one priority of any public servant, and I believe that my record reflects this. From reducing Montgomery County’s taxes multiple times and refusing a county salary, to protecting our children while they are in school and preserving open spaces, my experience has afforded me the unique ability to bring innovation to our government.

GREEN POWER COMMITMENT IS FIRST OF ITS KIND IN THE COUNTRY

Norristown — The Montgomery County Commissioners today announced a wind energy purchase that will power all county electrical accounts with emission-free, renewable power. The purchase ranks among the top 10 largest green power commitments by a governmental body in the country, and is the first 100% wind powered county, according the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
